Warts can be very difficult to treat. Most treatments consist of liquid nitrogen and salicylic acid. These treatments damage the top layer of skin where the wart lives but unfortunately warty tissue is very tough and sometimes the treatment cant damage the warty tissue. These topical treatments normally need multiple sessions weekly and can take months to resolve.
Because this patient is suffering from one little “small” wart, surgical removal is a great option to aggressively treat the lesion with high percentage of success with just one treatment. After discussing with the patient and his mom, both were totally game to be aggressive and get rid of this lil warty once and for all!!
Bye, bye “wittle” wart!!!
